Chapter 1: Tchuain and Tetouo.
Many years ago, Tchuain and Tetouo were two good friends. Not only because theirs bodies are covered, with the same kind of materials, but also because their way to move, to walk, to eat, is no too different. As they were searching for what to eat in the middle of forest, they discover after a nice diner, that they are surrounded by bush fire from all angles. The whole forest has become red, and the yellow flame was consuming everything without sorry.
“Where are we going to run and be safe,” asked one of them. “As what concern me I can jump in water. And I have never seen you swimming». What are you going to do? Asked Tetouo. “I shall look for a higher tree. Those flames cannot arrive on its summit and will climb on it». But as they were talking, the fire was coming with a high speed that they have only the time to run.
Tetouo strengthened its body, and jump, jump, and jump with all its energy so that, it could not do so when you ask him to jump like this simply, and it accepts. It was better to him because living on earth and in water; it knows the path of water quickly. As it also knows the area like its pocket, it saves its life in the nearest stream.Tchuain, changing the colours of its body one after another, like to steam its apparatus before running, flanged its body on trees’ branches one after another, climbing rapidly on the summit of the highest tree. But the flames were eager, rising up and up to the highest tree, and the little animal has to serve it only as meat. After few days, when the damages have come to an end, Tetouo come out from water and begging to look for its friend. It looks, looks and looks again, but it could not see it. Then it starts to call, call, call, and call, but it could not answer.
However, it continues to walk. The environment has become clear and easy to walk on. But Tetouo was annoyed because it could not meet its friend. After a glance of sun, it saw under a trunk tree, the skeletal bones of Tchuain. Astonished, it pick up the bones and blow like wissor in it, and a special music comes out of it.Taccha, this bird that eats mud, Were flying across the burning land, And saw the small animal dancing. It lands on a branch of raphia tree and watches the dance. The dance and the music continue.Tetouo was dancing, jumping, turning round, jumping and dancing.Taccha wait for the end but the end did not come. Excited by the kind of music, it asked to Tetouo: What are you doing like that? “It is the wonderful drum which is good”. Answered Tetouo.Where is the drum you are talking about? “You don’t see here, it is the bones of Tchuain that fire has leaved”. “No I can’t believe you. Only that squeletic bones cannot play, such music I heard from you now, you have another instrument. If not so, let me try”.Tetouo gave the bones to it. As it blows in it by touching on one bone after another, the special music steam as usual.
Taccha feels that it was good and easy to play. Since Tetouo could not follow it, it flies with the squeletic bones to its net and heeds it in a bag.Tetouo became more and more angry and swears to avenge. The next day it went to Taccha house. But could not find it, only its kids, and said to them; “Show me where your father has keep the luggage, that it came here last night with”. “I don’t know”. Answered the first one. It goes on questioning strongly the second one. This answered like the first. Tetouo turn round in bush, come back with delicious insects, that it knows Taccha likes too much, and said to the third;“If you don’t want your body to be broken, as I have done to your brothers, Show me where that bag is, and I will give you those insects”. Attracted by their favourite meats, the third kid of Taccha brought the bag, containing the bones of Tchuain in it.
Tetouo disappears inside the big sea with it. Soon as Taccha came in house, the third was accused by the two. And the father sent it out to go and bring the bag. Will the small Taccha succeeded to come back with the bag? It will not.

Chapter 2: Bedjem.
The western land where lives the great monk Nssi, Is well fertilised by volcanic erosion. People from southern, eastern and western regions, often come there searching for better foods, which will sustain their families’ life. There are also strange beasts that create confusion; by provoking men, women and children.Bedjem was young boy who has grown among elders of his tribe. And has attempted the traditional school, established by the great Monks. One day, his parents pleased him to come, and help them farming together during the bigger holiday.
Their village from the great Monk’s campus was very far, and there were no vehicles from one village to another. Ready with his luggages, he started his journey early in the morning. After few miles a great rain begins to fall. As it is an habit for small boys to love rain, he continue to walk in it, But as the rain changes into a greater one, he looks for a place of shades to keep his body. After few steps of running, he meets a small hut with great fire burning inside. He knocks at the door and a strange man welcome him. Strange because he looks different from human beings, and was eating frogs. This was quite different from Bedjem customs. Long as the rain was still falling; he stayed with his strange man who were burning frogs in fire, and was cooking his suppe with other ones.
