This book is an outcome of the 33rd International Conference EnviroInfo 2019, held at the University of Kassel, Germany. <p>Rüdiger Schaldach is head of the research group for Land Use Systems at the Center for Environmental&nbsp;Systems Research (CESR), University of Kassel, Germany. His research interests include spatial modelling and simulation of human-environment systems as well as questions related to sustainable land management and global change implications for ecosystems and societies.</p><p>Karl-Heinz Simon is a systems researcher, associated to the Center for Environmental Systems Research (CESR), University of Kassel, Germany. His research interests are in modelling and simulation, socio-cybernetics, and in systems approaches to society-environment relationships.</p><p>Jens Weismüller&nbsp; is a senior researcher of the Environmental Computing Team at the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ). His research interests include algorithms and HPC implementations for hydrometeorologic as well as deep Earth applications.</p>

<p>Volker Wohlgemuth is a Professor for Industrial Environmental Informatics at the HTW Berlin, University of Applied Sciences. His research fields are material flow management, modeling and simulation, mobile computing and environmental management information systems.</p>
