Chapter Zero

The political climate of The sixties. There was only three super powers The United States of  America, USSR-Russia and China. They were called super powers because They possess The Bomb and had the world's largest and powerful military forces on earth. The times were simpler back then. The whole world live under the threat of nuclear war. It was the atomic era and The new nuclear family. The atom was going to make life easier, change the world for good or cause the end to mankind and civilization. The splitting of the atom was the genie in the bottle. Nuclear medicine, nuclear energy and atom-powered vehicles were the wave of the futiure. The super powers try to protect the knowledge of the atomic bomb. They tried to push their government, ideology, way of life and political system on  the third world countries. Some of the third world countries rebelled and some became satellite third world countries and sided with representing The super powers interest in that region. Thus started The cold cold war. The cold war was about. Which, Super powers could sell the most weapons to the third world countries in fighting their brush fire wars. Which at that time was a new fangle concept idea of warfare. No longer did countries declared war on one another. There was no front lines. Their was unofficial undeclared guerilla warfare. That could start anywhere in the world. That's why. It's called brush fire war. The war in the shadows. The Americans had unconventional warfare, The USSR-Russia had terrorism and The Chinese had the people's army guerilla warfare. The cold war was just getting hotter.          

Chapter One

19 November 1962. The cold war was just starting to get hotter. A U-2 spy plane got shot down over Cuba during a fly over intelligence gathering mission. It was trying to locate and take photographic evidence of key Cuban-Russian tactical nuclear missiles sites. The U-2 pilot was presumed alive and held captive inside Havana, Cuba. The C.I.A not Thee C.I.A The Central Intelligence Agency who were a bunch of college kids, pencil pushers and desk jockeys. They weren't men of action.  If, They needed miliary action. They would have to give the job to The Green Berets, The U.S Marines or The 82nd Airborne Division. The other C.I.A was The Counter-Intelligence Agency was certain of it. At Counter-Intelligence, They were intelligent, sauve and men of extreme action with nerves of steel. He was suppose to locate, find and rescue the U-2 spy plane pilot before The invasion of Cuba codenamed Operation Copper Head. The 1st Special Forces Green Berets were going to parachute jump into Cuba with The man portable atomic bombs strapped to their backs. They were called SADM's an acroym for Special Atomic Detonation Munition. They were the first man portable atomic device. The United States and The Soviet Union were at diplomatic stalemate.        

Chapter Two
