<p><b>Jodi Burkett</b> is Principal Lecturer in History at the University of Portsmouth, UK, and founder of the Students in Twentieth-Century Europe research network. She is the author of <i>Constructing Post-Imperial Britain: Britishness, ‘Race’ and the Radical Left in the 1960s</i> (2013).</p>
